GENERAL THEORY OF THE PROCESS

The International Research Doctorate in “General Process Theory”, in agreement with the Megatrend University of Belgrade (Serbia) and the South East European University (Macedonia), aims to address the procedural issue from a multidisciplinary and transversal perspective. Cycle XXXVI (Under evaluation for accreditation by ANVUR).

Following the evaluation of the Doctorate by ANVUR, the announcement will also be publicized through electronic publication on the LUM portal, on the Euraxes website and on the MIUR (Ministry of Education, University and Scientific Research) website, as required by current legislation.

Study’s plan

This Study Plan combines digital innovation processes with the need to update and internationalize the professional profile of the lawyer. The goal is to give students the opportunity to acquire skills required by the globalization of economic and financial markets as well as by the technological and digital revolution. This is why we introduced specific subjects and focuses on computer crimes, smart contracts, block chain technology, telematic process in civil and administrative fields, digital evidence, project cycle management, in the world health and public and private health.

This Study Plan was designed in close collaboration with the Department of Management, Finance and Technology, to meet the pressing demand for professionals with specific legal, economic and managerial knowledge.

By choosing this Study Plan, students have the opportunity to achieve two Master's Degrees. Graduates in Law (LMG-01) will be able to enroll directly in the second year of the Master's Degree in Economics and Management (LM-77) thanks to the recognition of exams already taken in the LMG-01 course.

The 5 + 1 program, in fact, allows students to enter the world of work with two master's degrees, in Law and in Economics and Management, with the possibility of choosing a career in the legal professions and/or qualify as a chartered accountant.

As part of a study path towards acquiring the legal knowledge essential for starting a legal profession (lawyer, notary, magistrate) and for employment, with tasks which require a high level of responsibility, in institutions, public administrations and public and private enterprises, this study plan is geared towards the Legal Professions. The goal is to let students acquire the highest combination of laws and analysis skills, and the written and oral ability of reasoning and argumentation for a proper approach to specific and general juridic matters, of cases, also complex ones. For this purpose, this plan guarantees a proper training in private law, public law, procedural law, criminal law and international law; as well as a training in the institutional, economic, comparative and community fields. Students can begin this program in their fourth and fifth year.
